When you confess His Lordship, it is not only His dominion over you, but "lord" mean "the bread-provider," the caretaker, the protector from all your enemies. He become at once the Lord of your life. His ability is back of you to protect. You actually become a partaker of the Divine Nature. (II Peter 1:4)
