Lep's Faith Quotes
Daily (M-F) quotes from Pentecostal pioneers whom the modern Christian is unlikely to come across in contemporary devotional reading.
Welcome
Welcome to Lep's Faith Quotes. This blog will consist of powerful Holy Spirit-led quotes by the early writers of the classic Pentecostal and classic Word of Faith movements, such as E.W. Kenyon, John G. Lake, Smith Wigglesworth, and others. Caution! These quotes may be more powerful than customary daily devotional readings, and you may experience a new burst of Holy Spirit power in your life and ministry.

Show the World 10/18 Friday Faith
LEP'S FAITH QUOTES: Show the World 10/18 Friday Faith
[This will be my last post until Tuesday, October 21.]
The Christian religion must be demonstrated. The world wants to be shown. Then let God’s power be manifest through us.”
- Charles Fox Parham (forefather of the Pentecostal movement)

All That You Came For 10/16 Thursday Thoughts
LEP'S FAITH QUOTES: All That You Came For 10/16 Thursday Thoughts
Believe that when you come into the presence of God you can have all you came for. You can take it away; and you can use it, for all the power of God is at your disposal in response to your faith. The price for all was paid by the blood of Jesus Christ at Calvary.

I will not be posting for Monday, October 20.

Simchat Torah 10/15 Wednesday Wisdom
LEP'S FAITH QUOTES: Simchat Torah 10/15 Wednesday Wisdom
Simchat Torah (Rejoicing in the Torah) is a traditional holiday (not a Torah-mandated feast day) that begins at sunset, Tuesday, October 14, and ends at sunset, Wednesday, October 15. On this day the last portion of Deuteronomy is read, the Torah scroll is rerolled to the beginning, and the first portion of Genesis is read, beginning anew the annual cycle of readings. It is customary to rejoice in God's gift of His Word to us by dancing with the Torah scroll and passing it around so that many people have a chance to dance with the scroll. In Israel and in Orthodox neighborhoods elsewhere, the Torah scroll is carried into the streets where the public joins in dancing with it. In my Messianic congregation, we ususally dance with the Torah on the next Sabbath. It was on Simchat Torah, October 7, 2023, that the Israel hostages were kidnapped while the nation was partying.
Suggestion: Search for "dancing with the Torah" on YouTube.
Application for Christians: Do you value the Word of God so much that YOU will take time to study it TODAY? Do YOU "carry" the Word into public places by your actions and your love for others?

Something Better For You 10/14 Tuesday Truth
LEP'S FAITH QUOTES: Something Better For You 10/14 Tuesday Truth
God has something better for you than you have ever had in the past. Come out into all the fulness of faith and power and life and victory that He is willing to provide, as you forget the things of the past, and press right on for the prize of His calling in Christ Jesus.

Say Every Morning 10/13 Monday Meditation
LEP'S FAITH QUOTES: Say Every Morning 10/13 Monday Meditation
Then I want you to begin to reckon on Him. I want you to say in the morning, "That mighty One is in me. He can put me over today. I can face any emergency, I can do all things in Him because He is my strength."
-- E.W. Kenyon.

Constant Fellowshi 10/10 Friday Faith
LEP'S FAITH QUOTES: Constant Fellowship 10/10 Friday Faith
Through a constant fellowship with the Father, through bold faith in the Son, through a mighty unction of the blessed Holy Spirit, there will come a right of way for God to be enthroned in your hearts, purifying us so thoroughly that there is no room for anything but the divine presence within. And through the manifestation of this presence, the works of Christ and greater works shall be accomplished for the glory of our triune God.

Weak and Helpless 10/9 Thursday Thoughts
LEP'S FAITH QUOTES: Weak and Helpless 10/9 Thursday Thoughts
How could these weak and helpless fishermen, poor and needy, ignorant and unlearned, do the works of Christ and greater works than He had done? They were incapable. None of us is able. But our emptiness has to be clothed with divine fulness, and our helplessness has to be filled with the power of His helpfulness. Paul knew this when he gloried in all that brought him down in weakness, for flowing into his weakness came a mighty deluge of divine power.
