All the Strength I Need 1/26 Friday Faith

Psalm 27:1, "Jehovah is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear; Jehovah is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?" Did He say that He is the strength of my life? Then He IS. I have all the strength I need for my emergency or any need. Do I lack wisdom? (Most of us do.) Well, I Corinthians 1:30 says that God made Jesus to be wisdom unto us. That means that we shall have ability to use the knowledge that is given to us in the Word, that we are no longer to walk in darkness, for we have the light of life. -- E. W. Kenyon.

The Secret of Faith 1/26 Thursday Thoughts

My heart never recognized the secret of Faith until I saw this truth: that the Word must prevail over my mind. When the Word became as real to me as the word of a friend or a banker, then Faith ceased to be a problem. I no longer thought of Faith or the need of it. You see, Jesus never intimated a need of Faith. Why? Becasuse He had the Father's Words. Did God say it? Yes! THEN IT IS! -- E.W. Kenyon.

Have Your Own Faith 1/25 Wednesday Wisdom

One should never trust the great issues of his life to another's faith. He should have faith of his own, faith that can meet any crisis that may come. Your case is vital to you. It may not be vital to this other party to whose faith you look. He may have troubles that are unsolved, inward struggles that have never been settled. His faith may be at a low ebb when you appeal to him for aid. It is vitally important to you that you have your own faith to fall back on in these hard places. --E.W. Kenyon

Acting on the Word 1/23 Monday Meditation

Mark 16:18, "They shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover." This means nothing until we act on it. "in My Name they shall cast out demons." This scripture means nothing until we act on it. John 15:16, "That whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in My Name He will do it." This scripture is useless, dead, until we act on it. It is acting on the Word that builds faith in the believer. You may have all the promises; you may have the mighty Spirit dwelling in you; but if you do not act on the Word, God is impotent in you. Acting on the Word makes Jesus vitally real to the believer. Live It 1/19 Thursday Thoughts

I am beginning a series of quotes from Advanced Bible Studies by E.W. Kenyon. These quotes will be reruns from 2015 and 2019. Colossians 3:10, "And have put on the new man, that is being renewed unto knowledge after the image of Him that created him." The mind is renewed by studying the Word and by acting upon it. One may study the Word for years, but if he does not act it, live it, is not a doer, the mind is not renewed... Many Bible students are deceiving themeselves because they are not acting, living, doing the Word.

The Secret of Faith 1/18 Wednesday Wisdom

We are back from a trip to Florida and Alabama where we attended a baby shower for our first great-grandchild, expected to be born in February. The following is the summary of the entire book, In His Presence, by E.W. Kenyon. I will be continuing with another book by Kenyon. Get so that your spirit is sensitive to His desires. If you live with a loved one, and it is a love union and a love walk, you are very sensitive to the things that the loved one enjoys and desires. Now you begin to live with the Father and the Master until after awhile you will say as Jesus did, "I know my Father." . . . "I am walking in the light of the life of God in my spirit. "I am visiting with the Father almost continuously." This is the secret of faith.

Walking in Love 1/12 Thursday Thoughts

This will be my last post until Tuesday or Wednesday. It makes no difference how many promises you plead, if you are not walking in love, your prayer life will be a failure. Many people have come to me for prayer when they were sick and I have prayed for them and obtained no results. When I asked them why my prayers were not answered, they confessed that they had bitterness in their heart toward someone. The moment that bitterness was taken away, there were perfectly well. The 23rd verse [1 John 3:23] is worthy of much meditation. This is the commandment, "That we should believe in the name of His Son, Jesus Christ and love one another." -- E.W. Kenyon.

You Can Pray 1/11 Wednesday Wisdom

You can pray for you know how. . . Dare to act your part. Dare to let God use you. Dare to let Love reign in your life. Dare to be in your daily life what He says you are. Now we have the Father and Jesus and the Throne back of every word. If that Word should fail, it would dethrone God. It cannot fail. God cannot be separated from His Word. Every Word of God abides. Real Assurance 1/5 Thursday Thoughts

The Word can't lie. It is a part of God Himself. We act on the Word. God will make it good. What a foundation is this for a prayer life! We have God's own Word to back us. No Word from God can fail. Take the Word Seriously 1/4 Wednesday Wisdom

We have never taken the Word seriously. We have never acted as though it were true. If someone wrote you a letter and told you that he had deposited $5000 to your account in the bank to take care of your bills, and if you knew that he was financially able to do it, you would not hesitate a moment. You could hardly wait to get to the bank. You would hand the letter to the cashier with confidence... Is the Word of your Father, the Word of the Master, to be depended upon as the word of a friend? What a background is this for faith! What a prayer life can grow out of truth like this! You can see what He is to us and what we are to Him. Prayer Privilege 1/3 Tuesday Truth

This begins my 18th year of daily (M-F) posts. It started with a small group of friends whom I invited to receive emails. That email group still continues. I also post my quotes on a blogsite, on my Facebook page, in three Facebook groups, and in two Gab.com groups. The posts have an international readership. Thank you for your interest, as this is currently my primary ministry. Prayer is fellowship with the Fathre and with Jesus, a cultivation of a habit of communion. It is learning to take advantage of our rights in Christ. It is assuming the responsibility that those rights give us. Prayer privilege means prayer responsibility. -- E.W. Kenyon.

Preparation of the Heart 1/2 Monday Meditation

A prayer life doesn't mean hours spent in actual prayer, but hours of study and meditation in the Word until the life becomes literally absorbed in the Word and the Word becomes a very part of us. One could spend hours in prayer fruitlessly if the heart is not prepared beforehand. The preparation of the heart comes from meditation in the Word, meditation on what we are in Christ, what He is to us, and what the Holy Spirit can mean to a life that becomes God-inside-minded. -- E.W.
