Imitating Truth 11/1 Tuesday Truth

So skilled is error at imitating truth that the two are constantly being mistaken for each other.  It is therefore critically important that the Christian take full advantage of every provision God has made to save him from delusion.  These are prayer, faith, constant meditation on the Scriptures, obedience, humility, hard, serious thought and the illumination of the Holy Spirit.  These are the times that try men's souls.

He is not enthusiasm. He is not courage. He is not energy. He is not the personification of all good qualities like Jack Frost is the personification of cold weather....
... He is a person, just the same as you are a person, and He has all the qualities of a person.
He has substance but not material substance.
He has individuality.
He is one being and not another.
He has will and intelligence.
He has hearing.
He has knowledge and sympathy and ability to love and see and think.
He can hear, speak, desire, grieve and rejoice.
