Tried As By Fire 8/26 Wednesday Wisdom

Every trial is to prepare your for a greater position for God.  Your tried faith will make you know that you will have the faith of God to go through the next trial.  Who is going to live dormant, weak, trifling, slow, indolent, prayerless, Bible-less lives when you know you must go through these things?  And if you are to be made perfect in weakness, you must be tried as by fire in order to know that no man is able to win a victory, only by the power of God in him.

Another One of My Facorites 8/21 Friday Faith

May God save me from ever wanting anything less than a flood.  I will not stoop for small things when I have such a big God.  Through the blood of Christ's atonement we may have riches and riches.  We need the warming atmosphere of the Spirit's power to bring us closer and closer until nothing but God can satisfy, and then we may have some idea of what God has left after we have taken all we can.  It is only like a sparrow taking a drink of the ocean and then looking around and saying, "What a vast ocean!  What a lot more I could have taken if I had only had room."

Only Listen to the Truth of God 8/20 Thursday Thoughts

God's Fulness 8/18 Tuesday Truth

Some people only come with a very small thought concerning God's fulness, and a lot of people are satisfied with a thimbleful, and you can just imagine God saying, "Oh, if they only knew how much they could take away!"  Other people come with a larger vessel, and they go away satisfied, but you can feel how much God is longing for us to have such a desire for more, such a longing as only God Himself can satisfy.

God Has Forgotten Them 8/12 Wednesday Wisdom

The devil brings back to people's minds those things which they did so long ago, and there they are, thinking about them day and night!  There are two things certain, and a third thing which is more valuable than either of the two.  One is that you never forget them, and the third is that God has forgotten them.  The question is whether we are going to believe God, or the devil, or ourselves.  God says they are passed, cleansed, gone!

Never Rest Till You Are an Overcomer 8/7 Friday Faith

If you know that the Scriptures teach holiness, purity, and divine likeness -- overcoming under all conditions -- never rest till you are an overcomer.  If you know that men have gone in and have seen the face of God, who have had the vision revealed, have had the whole of the Scriptures made life in their lives, never rest till you come to it.  You say, "Have you a Scripture to prove it?"  Yes, the Scripture says, "That ye may apprehend with all saints what is the depth, length, breadth and height of the love of God." The Secret for the Future 8/5 Wednesday Wisdom

The secret for the future is living and moving in the power of the Holy Ghost.  One thing I rejoice in is that there need not be an hour or a moment when I do not know the Holy Ghost is upon me.  Oh, this glorious life in God is beyond expression, it is God manifest in the flesh.  Oh, this glorious unction of the Holy Ghost -- that we move by the Spirit.  He should be our continual life.

Move Things by Prayer 8/3 Monday Meditation

I believe we have yet to learn what it would be with a church... that understood truly the work of intercession .  I believe God the Holy Ghost wants to teach us that it is not only the people on the platform who can move things by prayer.  You people, the Lord can move things through you.  You have to learn the power of the breath of the Holy Ghost.
