When Jesus Arose 5/1 Thursday Thoughts

LEP'S FAITH QUOTES: When Jesus Arose 5/1 Thursday Thoughts When Jesus arose from the dead, He arose, not only because He had put sin away, but also because He had, as a substitute, conquered Satan. It was as though we, individually, had been the conquerors, just as though we had been there in that dark region and conquered Satan, stripped him of his authority and risen from the dead. Then Christ rose from the dead and Redemption became a settled fact, a closed issue. -- E.W. Kenyon

The Victory of the Resurrection 4/29 Wednesday Wisdom

LEP'S FAITH QUOTES: The Victory of the Resurrection 4/30 Wednesday Wisdom On this side of the cross is the victory of His resurrection, the marvel of all victories, the victory over death by which He took death captive. A living man, Himself, He came forth the Conqueror of death itself, having put all things under His feet. What an ascent into triumph! What a change in His consciousness! What a distinction between the Redeemer and the redeemed! No longer subject to death, but triumphing over it. No longer subject to humiliation, but now becoming the exalted One, bless God. -- John G. Lake

The Other Side of the Cross 4/29 Tuesday Truth

LEP'S FAITH QUOTES: The Other Side of the Cross 4/29 Tuesday Truth On this side of the cross we see all the marvel of opposites to what we see in the Christ on the other side of the cross. On the other side of the cross we see a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief, bearing our sicknesses, carrying our sorrows. He had nowhere to lay his head. Poverty was one of His characteristics. Nobody ever stops to think, or rarely so, that He bore His poverty, and what for? "That through His poverty we might be made rich." (2 Cor. 8:9) He bore our sorrows, what for? That we through His sorrows might be made glad. (See Isa. 35:10, Psalm 30:11) He bore our suffering, for what? That we through His stripes might be healed (Isa. 53:5). He gave His life a sacrifice for sins, for what? That we should know no sin. (Heb. 10:12-18) Then having completed the redemption, or purchasing the redemption, the redemption becomes manifest this side of Calvary. -- John G. Lake

Let the Fire Fall 4/28 Monday Meditation

LEP'S FAITH QUOTES: Let the Fire Fall 4/28 Monday Meditation It is up to the Church of Jesus Christ and the ministry of the Son of God to demonstrate that there is a power in the blood of Jesus Christ to save men and heal men unto the uttermost -- not half-healed or half the people healed, but I pray and believe that God's time has come for God's challenge to mankind and that challenge of the Christian Church to the world is to come on, and if it is God, let the fire fall. -- John G. Lake

Sent Into the World 4/25 Friday Faith

LEP'S FAITH QUOTES: Sent Into the World 4/25 Friday Faith As God sent Jesus into the world to deliver His messages, so Jesus sends us into the world as His ministers to preach the Gospel faithfully. Woe to us if we do not preach the whole truth or are ashamed or offended at any of His mighty works. -- Maria Woodworth-Etter

The Ultimate of the Gospel 4/24 Thursday Thoughts

LEP'S FAITH QUOTES: The Ultimate of the Gospel 4/24 Thursday Thoughts This startles some people. But the ultimate of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and the ultimate of the redemption of the Son of God, is to reproduce and make every man who is bound by sin and held by sensousness and enslaved by the flesh, like Himself in deed and in truth -- sons of God. -- John G. Lake.

What Things God Does 4/23 Wednesday Wisdom

LEP'S FAITH QUOTES: What Things God Does 4/23 Wednesday Wisdom Ah, what things God does for us when we only believe. He is so rich to all that call upon Him. What possibilities there are. . . if we would only believe in the divine presence, for God is here. The power of the Spirit is here... All things are possible to him that believeth... -- Smith Wigglesworth

Our Actual Father 4/22 Tuesday Truth

LEP'S FAITH QUOTES: Our Actual Father 4/22 Tuesday Truth And not only are we sons, but we are heirs of God and joint heirs with Jesus Christ. God is our actual Father. John 16:27, "For the Father Himself loveth you, because ye have loved me." If we are His children and if He is our Father, then he is responsible for us. If we take our place as sons, He is bound to take His place as a Father. --E. W. Kenyon

He Will Carry Us Through 4/21 Monday Meditation

LEP'S FAITH QUOTES: He Will Carry Us Through 4/21 Monday Meditation We never know how weak we are until we are covered by His mighty strength -- not to fail -- but to stand for God and having done all to stand, Jesus will carry us through. -- Smith Wigglesworth

Good Friday Quote 4/18 Friday Faith

LEP'S FAITH QUOTES: Good Friday Quote 4/18 Friday Faith The cross was two pieces of dead wood; and a helpless, unresisting Man was nailed to it; yet it was mightier than the world, and triumphed, and will ever triumph over it. -- Augustus William Hare

Plenty of Time 4/17 Thursday Thoughts

LEP'S FAITH QUOTES: Plenty of Time 4/17 Thursday Thoughts A woman said to me, "I haven't time to study the Word. I have so many things to do in my home." A year or two afterward she was taken very, very ill. Doctors said that an operation was the only hope, but that she had just very little chance -- one in one thousand. I said, "You have plenty of time now for studying the Bible." And she remembered. -- E.W. Kenyon.

What We Are in Christ 4/16 Wednesday Wisdom

LEP'S FAITH QUOTES: What We Are in Christ 4/16 Wednesday Wisdom The Scripture describes the Adversary, tells us much about him. But it tells us more of what we are in Christ; and as we come to know our place in Christ, our rights and privileges, we become very conscious of any division in our walk. We know the moment we step out of love, we step into No-Man's-Land where the Adversary gains ascendancy. --E. W. Kenyon

He Is With You 4/15 Tuesday Truth

LEP'S FAITH QUOTES: He Is With You 4/15 Tuesday Truth Matthew 28:20, "Lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world." He is with you in the living Word. He is with you in the presence of the mighty Spirit that lives in us. He hasn't left us alone, and He will not leave us alone. His ability is our ability; His strength is our strength. --E.W. Kenyon

A Christ-Man 4/14 Monday Meditation

LEP'S FAITH QUOTES: A Christ-Man 4/14 Monday Meditation When one gives himself to the Lord and becomes a child of God -- a Christian -- he is a Christ-man. All that he does and all that he says from that time on should be the will and the words and the doings of Jesus, just as absolutely, just as entirely as He spoke and did the will of the Father. -- John G. Lake

Jesus Went Out to Preach 4/11 Friday Faith

LEP'S FAITH QUOTES: Jesus Went Out to Preach 4/11 Friday Faith Jesus went out to preach, and He did not have a lot of music to accompany Him. There were no pianos, but the power of God was there. It is not so much music, singing, long prayers, or preaching that is effective, but the Spirit of the living God. When Jesus opened His mouth, He spoke as no man had ever spoken (John 7:46), because there was something behind it. -- Maria Woodworth-Etter

Let God Have Your Future 4/10 Thursday Thoughts

LEP'S FAITH QUOTES: Let God Have Your Future 4/10 Thursday Thoughts "I have failed a thousand times," you say. Never mind, brother. . . Do you love to be beaten, or do you love to come into line with Him? . . . What is the desire of your heart? You may be sorry for the past, but let God have you for the future. -- Smith Wigglesworth

The Power of the Name 4/9 Wednesday Wisdom

LEP'S FAITH QUOTES: The Power of the Name 4/9 Wednesday Wisdom Peter and John instantly grasped the significance of His Name. Passing into the temple they met a beggar-cripple... Peter commanded: "In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk." (Acts 3:6) ... He leaped to his feet, whole. A multitude rushed up. They demanded, "In what name, by what name, by what power have ye done this?" Peter and John replied, "In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye slew, whom God raised up." Matchless name! The secret of power was in it. When they used the name, power struck. The dynamite of heaven exploded. --John G. Lake

The Church Has Been Robbed 4/8 Tuesday Truth

LEP'S FAITH QUOTES: The Church Has Been Robbed 4/8 Tuesday Truth We contend, by the Word of God, that the world and the Church have been robbed of the presence, power, and blessing of Jesus Christ -- a present Healer -- because the Church has falsely taught that the days of miracles are past. The days of miracles never passed, only in the soul that lost its faith in God. Where faith is, there ever will be the evidence of God's mighty power to save and heal. -- John G. Lake

By His Stripes 4/7 Monday Meditation

LEP'S FAITH QUOTES: By His Stripes 4/7 Monday Meditation They heard about the Great Physician, about His mighty love and power. No case was too hard for Him. No one was too poor or too rich, if they came in God's way. He healed everyone, and He not only healed but He also saved them, for He gave them the double cure. He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses, and by His sripes we are healed today (Isa. 53:5). -- Maria Woodworth-Etter

The Word 4/4 Friday Faith

LEP'S FAITH QUOTES: The Word 4/4 Friday Faith The Word takes the place of the unseen Christ. Meditation in the Word is a visit with Him. The Word becomes a part of one by meditation. The Word living in us gets into our blood. --E.W. Kenyon

LEP'S FAITH QUOTES: When Scripture Is Useless 4/3 Thursday Thoughts Mark 16:18, "They shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover." This means nothing until we act on it. "In My Name they shall cast out demons." The scripture means nothing until we act on it. John 15:16, "The whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in My Name He will do it." This scripture is useless, dead, until we act on it. It is acting on the Word that builds faith in the believer. You may have all the promises; you may have the mighty Spirit dwelling in you; but if you do not act on the Word, God is impotent in you. Acting on the Word makes Jesus vitally real to the believer. (II Corinthians 5:7) --E.W. Kenyon

Intimacy With the Father 4/2 Wednesday Wisdom

LEP'S FAITH QUOTES: Intimacy With the Father 4/2 Wednesday Wisdom What would it mean to have the Father and Jesus both living in your home? It would insure the rent, the taxes, and all the bills, because the Father would pay His way and enable you to meet every obligation. How intimate He wishes to become with us. (Matthew 6:31-33) --E. W. Kenyon
