Light of Life 12/22 Monday Meditation
LEP'S FAITH QUOTES: Light of Life 12/22 Monday Meditation
I will be posting only for Monday through Wednesday this week.
I have found that Light of Life.
I am no longer walking in the darkness of sense knowledge [believing only what I can see].
I am no longer crippled by my inferiority complex or my sense of unworthiness.
I know that I am a son beloved; that I have my place in the Father's presence.

I Am With You 12/19 Friday Faith
LEP'S FAITH QUOTES: I Am With You 12/19 Friday Faith
Christ did not say, "I will be with you alway." That would have suggested a break. He said, "I am" -- an unchanging now, a presence never withdrawn, a love, a nearness, a power to heal and save as constant and as free as ever, even unto the end of the world. "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever." (Hebrews 13:8)

Your Thought Life 12/18 Thursday Thoughts
LEP'S FAITH QUOTES: Your Thought Life 12/18 Thursday Thoughts
The devil knows that if he can capture your thought life, he has won a mighty victory over you. His great business is injecting thoughts, but if you are pure and holy you will instantly shrink from them. God wants us to let the mind that in Christ Jesus, that pure, holy, humble mind of Christ, be in us.

Sweet Mountain Streams 12/17 Wednesday Wisdom
LEP'S FAITH QUOTES: Swiss Mountain Streams 12/17 Wednesday Wisdom
I am very interested in scenery. When I was in Switzerland I wouldn't be satisfied till I went to the top of the mountain, though I like the valleys also. On the summit of the mountain the sun beats on the snow and sends the water trickling down the mountain right through the meadows. Go there and see if you can stop it. Just so in the spiritual. God begins with the divine flow of His eternal power which is the Holy Ghost, and you cannot stop it.
We must always clearly see that the baptism with the Spirit must make us ministering spirits.

Burning Hearts 12/16 Tuesday Truth
LEP'S FAITH QUOTES: Burning Hearts 12/16 Tuesday Truth
If the saints only knew how precious they are in the sight of God they would scarcely be able to sleep for thinking of His watchful, loving care. Oh, He is a precious Jesus! He is a lovely Savior! He is divine in all His attitude toward us, and makes our hearts to burn. There is nothing like it. "Oh," they said on the road to Emmaus, "did not our hearts burn within us, as He walked with us and talked with us?" (Luke 24:32). Oh beloved, it must be so today.

The Story of Hanukkah 12/15 Monday Meditation
I am going to post something a little different today.
LEP'S FAITH QUOTES: The Story of Hanukkah 12/15 Monday Meditation
This Sunday evening, we will be lighting the first candle of Chanukah.
Chanukah is not just about a miracle of light, it is a story about reclaiming the land of promise and defending the values that God has given us to follow.
When the Seleucid Empire took over in 175 BCE, they brought with them Hellenistic culture.
In the beginning it was peaceful, but in 167 BCE things took a turn for the worse.
Antiochus IV banned:
Torah reading
Circumcision
Shabbat observance
Kosher laws
Prayer and sacrifices
Furthermore, he desecrated the Temple by setting up an altar to Zeus, sacrificed pigs on the altar, stopped the daily offerings, and installed Greek idols throughout Jerusalem.
As well, soldiers were forced Jews to eat pork, mothers who circumcised their sons were killed, Torah scrolls were burned, and thousands were murdered for refusing to assimilate.
This extreme persecution under Antiochus IV is what sparked the Maccabean Revolt.
The Macabees, who were a family of priests, stood up for what they believed in and pushed back the darkness. They were outnumbered, not as skilled in fighting, didn’t have the military strength and equipment as the Seleucid Empire, but against all odds…
From that time, Israel, which was then called Judea, enjoyed 100 years of Jewish independence.-

The Day of Miracles 12/12 Friday Faith
LEP'S FAITH QUOTES: The Days of Miracles 12/12 Friday Faith
Ministers and churches throughout the land have seen that, although the church has taught that the days of miracles only belonged to the times of the apostles, that statement was a falsehood. They have seen that the healing power of God is as available to the honest soul today as it was in the days of Christ on the earth. "The gifts and callings of God are without repentance," (Romans 11:29) and Jesus is the Healer still.

The Things That Are Not 12/11 Thursday Thoughts
LEP'S FAITH QUOTES: The Things That Are Not 12/11 Thursday Thoughts
The elders always had a good report because of faith, and if devastating winds blow, it does not matter. The men of faith are not moved by anything they see or hear. The man of faith does not live in time. He has begun in eternity. He does not count on the thing that are; HE RELIES ON THE THINGS THAT ARE NOT.

The Man With Christ in Him 12/10 Wednesday Wisdom
LEP'S FAITH QUOTES: The Man With Christ In Him 12/10 Wednesday Wisdom
The man with Christ in him, the Holy Ghost, is greater than any other power in the world. All other natural and evil powers are less than God, even Satan himself is a lesser power. Man with God in him is greater than Satan. This is the reason that God says to the believer, he shall cast out devils. "Greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world" (I John 4:4).

Something Will Happen Then 12/9 Tuesday Truth
LEP'S FAITH QUOTES: Something Will Happen Then 12/9 Tuesday Truth
God's purposes come to pass when your heart and mine gets the real God cry, and the real God prayer comes into our spirits and the real God yearning gets our natures. Something is going to happen then.

Shall Be Filled 12/8 Monday Meditation
LEP'S FAITH QUOTES: Shall Be Filled 12/8 Monday Meditation
"Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness for they shall be filled" (Matthew 5:6). Note that word, "shall be filled." If you ever see a "shall" in the Bible, make it yours. Meet the conditions and God will fulfill His Word to you.

A Faith Triumphant 12/4 Thursday Thoughts
LEP'S FAITH QUOTES: A Faith Triumphant 12/4 Thursday Thoughts
I will not be posting Friday Faith this week.
Your spirit life is fruitful and built up and enriched by communion with the Father and by reading His Word. And your spirit becomes strong and vigorous. There issues from it a faith that is triumphant and creative. I venture to say this: The men and women who are weak in faith, that once were mighty in faith, are so because they have stopped feeding on the Word of God and stopped close, intimate fellowship with the Father.

Laugh When Things Get Worse 12/5 Wednesday Wisdom
LEP'S FAITH QUOTES: Laugh When Things Get Worse 12/3 Wednesday Wisdom
If you are sure of your ground, if you are counting on the presence of the living Christ within, you can laugh when you see things getting worse. God would have you settled and grounded in Christ, and you become steadfast and unmoveable in Him.

Christianity Is Our Confession 12/2 Tuesday Truth
LEP'S FAITH QUOTES: Christianity Is Our Confession 12/2 Tuesday Truth
You see, Christianity is our Confession.
Hebrews 4:14 He says, "Let us hold fast our confession."
What is our Confession? Why, that God is our Father, we are His Children, we are in His Family.
It is a Confession that our Father knows what our needs are and has made provision to meet every one of them.
It is a Confession of the finished work of Christ, of what I am in Him, and what He is in me.
It is a Confessiion that "greater is He that is in me, than he that is in the world."
It is my confesion that my God does suppply every need of mine according to His riches in glory.
It is my Confession that when I pray, the Father hears my prayer and answers me.
