My Favorite Quote 4/4 Friday Faith

I'm up to the point in my complete sermons of Wigglesworth book where my favorite quote of all time appears.  I used to use this for my signature line on emails.  I've posted it a few times in the past.
God has privileged us in Christ Jesus to live above the ordinary human plane of life.  Those who want to be ordinary, and live on a lower plane, can do so; but as for me, I will not!

Full of the Holy Ghost 4/3 Thursday Thoughts

The disciples... decided upon a plan [Acts 6:1-5], which was to choose seven men to do the work -- men who were "full of the Holy Ghost."  What a divine thought!  No matter what kind of work was to be done, however menial it may have been, the person chosen must be filled with the Holy Ghost.  The plan of the Church was that everything, even of natural order, must be sanctified unto God, for the Church had to be a Holy Ghost church.  Beloved, God has never ordained anything less!  ... "Have you received the Holy Ghost since you believed?"  "Are you filled with divine power?"

God Never Intended ... 4/2 Wednesday Wisdom

This sounds like something I posted before.  It's not a rerun.  I think Wigglesworth used some of the same wording in different sermons in different locations.  I'd do the same thing too, if I were a preacher, wouldn't you?  

He has a plan for every individual life, and if we have any other plan in view, we miss the grandest plan of all!  Nothing of the past is equal to the present, and nothing of the present can equal the things of tomorrow, for "tomorrow" should be so filled with holy expectations that we will be "living flames" for Him.  God never intended His people to be ordinary, or commonplace; His intentions were that they should be on fire for Him, conscious of His divine power, realizing the glory of the cross that foreshadows the crown.

Press On 4/1 Tuesday Truth

Not a weapon that is formed against you can proper.  Know the wisdom and purpose of the great hand that is upon you.  Glorify God in distresses and persecutions, for the Spirit of God is there made manifest.  Be chastened!  Be perfected!  Press on to heights, lengths, depths, breadths.  Faith is the victory.  The hope is within you, the joy set before you.

Every Trial Is a LIft 3/30 Monday Meditation

Every trial is a lift -- every burden a place of exchanging strength.  God will work.  "Who can lay anything to the charge of God's elect?"  People do it, but it makes no difference.  God is for us.  "...Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for those that love him" (1 Corinthians 2:9).  But unto us it hath been revealed by the Spirit.

Eat All the Time 3/28 Friday Faith

When I was baptized in the Holy Ghost, God showed me when Adam and Eve transgressed and were turned out of the garden -- at the gate was put a flaming sword -- a sword of death if they entered in -- but the baptism of the Holy Ghost put the tree of life right in me and a flaming sword outside to keep the devil from me -- that I might eat all the time of the eternal bread.

Far More Exceeding Glory 3/27 Thursday Thoughts

Shall we allow our hearts to fail us in the day of adversity?  No!  That which God has already strengthened and perfected!! -- weakness made strong! -- corruption changed to purity!  Knowing that in the tribulation and the fire God has purified us, what shall we say to these things?  These light afflictions are working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.
