Oh, beloved, God is a real essence of joy to us in a time when it seems barrenness, when it seems nothing can help us but the light from heaven far above the brightness of the sun.  Then that touches you, then that changes you, and you realize nothing is worthwhile but that.

We are born of the Spirit, and nothing but the Spirit of God can feed that spiritual life.  We must live in it, feed in it, walk in it, talk in it, sleep in it, hallelujah!  We must always be in the Holy Ghost.  "When I am awake, I am with thee.  When I am asleep, my heart talketh."

The Fulness of the Spirit 2/8 Wednesday Wisdom

Oh brothers, oh sisters, don't tell me that we have got the fullness. Oh, the fullness of the Spirit, an immeasurable measure!  Oh, don't tell me there are any limitations of it.  It comes in floods we cannot contain.  I drink and drink and drink again, and still we yet are dry.

Oh saints of God, the more of this joy they get, the more they require, the more they desire.  It is God in you that longs for all the fullness of God to come into you, praise His name.  But we must be partakers of it.

The Way of Holiness 2/7 Tuesday Truth

But God has a way, it is called the way of holiness, and He can bring us into that place.  He has a divine longing to bring us into that place where we hear the voice of God, we see the form of God, we understand the way of God, and we walk in communion with God.  These are the places where divine virtue flows.

To think that God can make a mistake is the biggest blunder that a man makes in his life.  God makes no mistakes.  But when we are in the will of God the plan works out admirably because it is divine, thought out by the almightiness of God.

The Holy Ghost Prays 2.3 Friday Faith

For who hath known the mind of Christ, or who is able to make intercession but the mind of the Spirit of the living God.  He maketh intercession.  Where is He?  He is in us.

Oh, this baptism of the Holy Ghost is an inward presence of the personality of God, which lifts, prays, takes hold, lives in, with a tranquility of peace and power that rests and says, "It is all right.:"

God answers prayer because the Holy Ghost prays and your advocate is Jesus, and the Father the Judge of all.  There He is.  Is it possible for any prayer to be missed on those lines?

The Word Is Everything 2/2 Thursday Thoughts

We shall become flat, and anemic, and helpless without the Word, dormant and so helpless to take hold.  You are not any good for anything apart from the Word.  The Word is everything.  The Word has to become everything.  When the heavens and the earth are melted away then we shall be as bright, and brighter than the day, and going on to be consistent because of the Word of God.
