Jesus said, "Behold, I give you authority." What authority? "Over unclean spirits to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease" (Matthew 10:1, paraphrased). Jesus Christ has vested that authority in you. You say, "Well, Lord, we understand the authority that is in your Word, but we haven't the power. But Jesus said, "Ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you" (Acts 1:8).
