He wants us to know that we have His ability, that II Corinthians 3:4,5 is ours, written especially for us. "And such confidence have we through Christ to Godward; not that we are sufficient of ourselves, to account anything as from ourselves; but our sufficiency is from God."
You have His ability in life's fight ... have it in the office, in the store, in the schoolroom, in the home. The mechanic has His wisdom at the bench. The judge and the lawyer both have access to His ability. There isn't a walk in life in which the believer finds himself, but what God's ability belongs to him, and that his Father is not watching over him, meeting his every need in every crisis.
