Jesus was the first body. He was the human body through which God revealed Himself to the world. After He passed on to glory, He undertook to bring into being again a new body -- not a lesser body nor a weaker body, but a body greater than the body of Jesus, a person greater than the power of Jesus. That is is the meaning of the words of Jesus: "Greater works than these shall he do, because I go unto my Father:" (John 14:12)
