There is no power that can convert a man except the power of the blood of Jesus. Brother, the carnal life is not subject to the will of God, neither indeed can be. Carnality is selfishness and uncleanness. It cannot be subject to God; it interferes with you; it binds and keeps you in bondage; but, beloved, God destroys carnality by a new life, which is so much better, and fills you with joy unspeakable and full of glory.
