Persecutions 5/19 Thursday Thoughts

People don't want to walk in the light; they don't like the way. They say, "We will be despised, and they will call us all kinds of names." If they can call us any worse than they did the Son of God, I'd like to know about it. But if we suffer with Him, we will reign with Him (2 Tim. 2:12). He has promised us everything in this life, "with persecutions" (Mark 10:30). We all want the good things but not the persecutiion. Yet those who desire to live in a godly way will suffer persecution (2 Tim. 3:12). Bless, God, He is around us like a wall of fire.
