What happens in 2 Chronicles 7:1-3 is like Pentecost; it represents Pentecost. The first verse reads, "When Solomon had made an end of praying." So many people never look to God to answer their prayers; they would be frightened if He did. Solomon stretched out His hands and prayed to God, and God heard him. When he had finished praying, something happened.
