Daily (M-F) quotes from Pentecostal pioneers whom the modern Christian is unlikely to come across in contemporary devotional reading.
Welcome
Welcome to Lep's Faith Quotes. This blog will consist of powerful Holy Spirit-led quotes by the early writers of the classic Pentecostal and classic Word of Faith movements, such as E.W. Kenyon, John G. Lake, Smith Wigglesworth, and others. Caution! These quotes may be more powerful than customary daily devotional readings, and you may experience a new burst of Holy Spirit power in your life and ministry.

Simchat Torah 10/15 Wednesday Wisdom
LEP'S FAITH QUOTES: Simchat Torah 10/15 Wednesday Wisdom
Simchat Torah (Rejoicing in the Torah) is a traditional holiday (not a Torah-mandated feast day) that begins at sunset, Tuesday, October 14, and ends at sunset, Wednesday, October 15. On this day the last portion of Deuteronomy is read, the Torah scroll is rerolled to the beginning, and the first portion of Genesis is read, beginning anew the annual cycle of readings. It is customary to rejoice in God's gift of His Word to us by dancing with the Torah scroll and passing it around so that many people have a chance to dance with the scroll. In Israel and in Orthodox neighborhoods elsewhere, the Torah scroll is carried into the streets where the public joins in dancing with it. In my Messianic congregation, we ususally dance with the Torah on the next Sabbath. It was on Simchat Torah, October 7, 2023, that the Israel hostages were kidnapped while the nation was partying.
Suggestion: Search for "dancing with the Torah" on YouTube.
Application for Christians: Do you value the Word of God so much that YOU will take time to study it TODAY? Do YOU "carry" the Word into public places by your actions and your love for others?
